Plant Poneers is Sainsbury's own brand vegan food, and with this product, they have excelled. Made from a soya protein just as many other meat substitutes are, these simply taste better than other meat-free balls on the market.
They are not overly seasoned, and offer a genuinely satisfying taste. The texture too is not firm either, but neither are chewy. Cliché maybe, but Sainsbury's have judged these just right.
What makes these better is that they are cheaper than many others available. They are also as versatile as all meatballs, this reviewers' preference being with pasta.
