Having tried Birds Eye's southern fried strips, I thought these would be much the same, just a different shape and coating. However, what was pleasant to discover, was that they do differ.
The southern fried coating is so strong it dominates the flavour. As that is not here, you can taste the 'meaty' part much better, and it is very nice.
It is nicely flavoured, with a good texture. Nothing out of the ordinary here, and I think they are better than Quorn's Crispy Fillets.
The coating here is crispy, without being greasy.
They come in a card box, and cook very easily in the oven. A good, versatile product these, certainly recommend.
