M&S Vegetarian Kiev Review

First thing to note is that this is strictly vegetarian not vegan for it contains dairy. The other thing to note is that this is not a Kiev in the conventional sense.

The 'meat' part of the Kiev has been replaced with vegetables, namely petit pois peas, mushroom, peppers, sweetcorn and also brown rice put in. Though it may sound it, this does not taste curry like at all.

The veg blends together very well, and are coated in breadcrumbs one would expect of a Kiev. The tastes are unique to this product, and are really very nice.

The garlic sauce centre contains both cheese and milk. It is thick, and only further compliments the veg surrounding it. For vegetarians or those wishing to go meat-free, these are a delight.

No, they are not Kiev's as one would expect, but what is wrong with something a bit different? There is no plastic in the packaging either.
