Quorn Vegetarian Bacon Review

Updated: Jun 2, 2021

These bacon rashers have been around for a while, and are not a new product. For their entire existence I have never really been a fan of them either.

They cook easily, and can be eaten in sandwiches, for breakfast, or broken up in pasta.

They are vegetarian, owing to containing egg, as some other Quorn products also do. For those just wanting to avoid meat though this is not an issue.

The taste is, I have been reliably informed, not like that of real bacon. The taste they do have is okay, but in lingers in the mouth, rather annoyingly.

The texture too is a bit odd, I think, and adds nothing to the product. As I said at the start, these are not a favourite of mine, but they have been on the shelves for years, so clearly people do like them.
