Sainsbury's Plant Pioneers Mini Sausage Rolls Review

These mini sausage rolls are found in the freezer, thus meaning they can be kept longer than ones found in the fridge aisle and cooked to your , convenience, the weekend picnic with the children for instance.

They are vegan, and I think when cooked a glaze is unnecessary, they look absolutely fine. They cook simply in the oven, and can be eaten warm or left to cool and eaten cold. Either way they are pleasant.

The pastry is not greasy, and while I would not say they have the full flavour of other veggie Cumberland sausages, the sausage is not bad and does taste nice. The texture is soft too.

There are alternatives, but despite being new, these are really rather good.
