Squeaky Bean Spicy Sriracha Chicken Style Bites Review

Squeaky Bean appear to be a new entrant, however their relation, Winterbotham Darby, have been in business since the 1960s. Squeaky Bean is their meat-free side of the business, now with a wide range of products.

This product is my first to try of Squeaky Bean, and first impressions are often important. Ideal for a picnic seemingly, offering spicy sriracha also makes them unique to other vegan products.

I have to be honest for this review, and my opinion is that I won't be buying these again ever, no matter how much they cost. They just simply are not very nice.

When the packet says spicy, you expect them to be, but they simply are not, at least the packet I tried. Biting into them reveals a hollow centre, with has a thing coating of something red, but no flavour.

The 'meat' part was better, but also bland, with a strange crumbly texture. It too lacked flavour.

They can also be eaten hot, so for the sake of this review, and to try to redeem them I did, and they were better, though still not great. Also difficult to eat hot on a picnic or when out too.

Overall, these are bites to be missed. You may want to form your own opinion of course, so in which case buy to them to do that.
