Coop's Gro range has grown quite significantly recently, and while not available in all stores, they do have a search for what is stocked where on their website, which is helpful.
The Gro range is vegan, and despite the odd spelling of grow, presumably it alludes to its food being plant based.
These sausages are predominantly mushroom, British and Irish mushrooms at that, but the description telling states its mushroom with black pepper and herbs.
They look nice, and are the size you would expect. It goes downhill on taste on texture though. There is so much black pepper that you can taste nothing else, and personally that is not pleasant.
The texture also is not nice. It is gritty, which is fine for fudge, but for a sausage? No, it does not work.
Better vegan sausages are out there, these cannot be recommended.
