The first thing to note is that these burgers are strictly vegetarian, on the account they contain cheese. For the vegetarian however, they are an appetising option.
Owing to the cheese content, they are more difficult than other burgers to barbeque. They can be, but it is easier to cook them in the oven, in a glass dish as a lot of liquid escapes while cooking.
They do offer a different taste to other burgers available. It is worth raising an interesting point here. Why do many vegetarian and vegan food companies feel that what the market needs is more veggie burgers (and sausages for that matter). There are already so many available, why not produce something different?
I digress, Linda McCartney's offering here is worth a try. They have a nice flavour and texture, if they are a bit less versatile than others that can be bought.
