Linda McCartney's Vegan Red Onion and Rosemary Sausages Review

Linda McCartney does an impressive range of products, most of which are vegan, including these sausages. They do standard ones too, but the ones reviewed here taste different.

They taste different, and have a different texture, in a good way. They are excellent, simply put.

They cook easily, either fried, on the grill or in the oven, and there is no plastic in the packaging.

They are soft, made predominantly from soya, and are flavoured superbly. 19% of these sausages are onion, and the Rosemary is subtle. If you have not tried them, they will quickly become a favourite. I need to stress they differ substantially from their standard sausages, and I think these are much nicer.

They do taste of onion, as one would expect, so perhaps not for anyone who hates onion. For everyone else though they are so full of flavour.

I think they are great in a sandwich, but better enjoyed as part of a mid-week meal in a giant Yorkshire pudding with mash, peas and onion gravy. You should try them too.
