While describing something as "The Best" is of course subjective, Morrisons has chosen this phrase to label its premium range. High expectations follow then.
Fortunately for Morrisons, this nut roast is very good. It is not dry, nor bland. No, it's a very welcome addition to the roast dinner plate, welcomed by vegans and meat eaters alike.
Stuffed with a number of different nuts (peanuts, walnuts, almonds and hazelnuts), cranberries and, most excitingly, red wine. Pumpkin seeds are on top, and the flavours are really well put together for a relatively low cost frozen roast.
Its vegan, cooks simply in the oven and tastes good. It is a very good effort from Morrisons, though as everyone is different, I shall refrain from calling it The Best.
