Scoiattolo Chickpeas & Lentils Vegan Ravioli Review

These are new, from a company I had not heard of before. The blend of chickpeas and lentils did mean I had reservations over how good these would be, however these were quickly put to rest.


They are made in Italy, using organic ingredients and come as fresh pasta. They cook really quickly, so if serving with a sauce make sure you have already made it and that you have started warming up.


To eat, they are delectable. Quite simply, I personally think they don't need a sauce, they are very good. The pasta has rosemary in it, not a lot but enough to give a hint, and compliments the chickpea and lentil filling, which is also lovely. The filling is soft and smooth in texture, and not at all bland. They really are very good.


The flavours do not contradict or overpower any of the others. These are a must try.
